Network Consultant

Role Overview: As a Sr. Network Architect specializing in SDWAN, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Global WAN networks, specifically focusing on SDWAN technologies on Fortinet. Your expertise will be crucial in configuring and managing BAU Network, designing integrated WAN and SDWAN solutions for large WAN transformation projects, and planning WAN transformation and migration methods. You will also be involved in preparing high-quality HLD and LLD design documents, identifying cross-functional dependencies, and conducting WAN network tests to generate detailed test reports. Additionally, your role will require sequencing activities, scheduling tasks, and preparing project plans. Key Responsibilities: - Expertise in designing and implementing Global WAN networks utilizing SDWAN technologies on Fortinet - Designing integrated WAN and SDWAN solutions for major WAN transformation projects - Planning and conducting WAN transformation and migration methods - Developing high-quality HLD and LLD design documents - Identifying cross-functional dependencies and sequencing activities - Scheduling tasks and preparing project plans - Conducting vigorous WAN network tests and generating detailed test reports Qualifications Required: - 10 to 15 years of experience in Global WAN network design and implementation on SDWAN technologies, specifically on Fortinet - Strong knowledge and expertise in BGP, MPLS, VPN technologies (IPsec, DMVPN), routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS), multicast technologies, and SDWAN technologies - Experience in WAN optimization, public cloud connectivity, datacenter solutions using Microsoft AZURE, and security environments such as Firewalls, Proxy servers, SSL offloading, and VPNs - Consulting experience in understanding holistic WAN requirements with presales, conducting project kick-off meetings, and providing network design services exceeding customer needs - Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to deep dive into detailed analysis and effectively communicate complex technical problems to various teams and members - Strong communication skills with experience in preparing solution documents, presentations, and conducting brainstorming sessions to resolve complex issues with the team Please note that the additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.
