Experience: 15+ years (with deep Salesforce experience) Role Overview The Salesforce Practice Lead is responsible for building, growing, and leading the Salesforce practice within the organization. This role combines strategic leadership, delivery oversight, pre-sales support, and people management to ensure successful Salesforce implementations and long-term client value. Key Responsibilities Practice & Strategy Leadership Define and execute the vision, roadmap, and growth strategy for the Salesforce practice Establish best practices, governance, delivery frameworks, and reusable assets Drive practice profitability, utilization, and revenue growth Client & Delivery Management Act as executive sponsor for key Salesforce engagements Ensure successful delivery across Salesforce implementations (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.) Oversee solution quality, timelines, budgets, and customer satisfaction Pre-Sales & Business Development Partner with sales teams on pursuits, proposals, and solution design Lead discovery sessions, architecture discussions, and executive presentations Support RFP/RFI responses and estimate effort, scope, and pricing Team & Capability Building Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing Salesforce team (Architects, Consultants, Developers, Admins) Define career paths, skill development plans, and certification goals Lead hiring and workforce planning for the practice Partnerships & Ecosystem Manage Salesforce partner relationship and maintain partner status requirements Stay current with Salesforce releases, industry trends, and emerging capabilities Collaborate with ISVs and technology partners as needed Required Qualifications 15+ years of overall IT/consulting experience 68+ years of hands-on Salesforce leadership experience Proven experience leading Salesforce programs and multi-cloud implementations Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and integration patterns Experience managing P&L, forecasting, and practice metrics Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Certifications (CTA, System Architect, Application Architect, or multiple domain certifications) Experience in consulting or system integration environments Industry experience (Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, etc.) Experience scaling practices from early stage to maturity Key Competencies Strategic thinking and execution Client-facing leadership People development and mentoring Commercial acumen Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills .
