As a QC Engineer at Hanomi.ai, you will be responsible for the detailed quality control of 2D engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy, adherence to standards, and manufacturability. Your key responsibilities will include: - Performing detailed QC of engineering drawings, validating dimensions, tolerances, GD&T symbols, views, callouts, and BOM elements. - Cross-checking drawings against 3D CAD models, identifying mismatches, and flagging design or annotation errors. - Guiding drafters on corrective actions and ensuring compliance with ASME/ISO standards and internal guidelines. - Developing and refining QC checklists, SOPs, and quality frameworks for continuous improvement. - Collaborating with design, drafting, and automation teams to enhance the overall quality. - Maintaining QC reports and mentoring junior engineers to uphold quality standards. To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications: - Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering. - 512 years of experience reviewing mechanical drawings in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, tooling, or precision engineering. - Strong command of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and engineering drawing standards. - Ability to interpret 3D CAD models in SolidWorks/Creo/NX or similar tools. - Exceptional attention to detail with high accuracy and strong communication/documentation skills. - Experience working with plastic components and parts. - ASME Certified with expertise in GD&T concepts.
