As an AutoCAD Drafter at The Licht Project, you will play a crucial role in preparing detailed lighting layout drawings, plans, and elevations for residential and commercial projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Interpreting architectural drawings and using brand-specific product data to create accurate lighting layouts. - Developing shop drawings with clear dimensions, details, and specifications for on-site implementation. - Collaborating with the design and project teams to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of drawings. - Maintaining drawing standards, organizing files, and supporting project documentation throughout the design and installation process. To excel in this role, you should possess: - Strong technical drawing skills, with proficiency in Technical Drawing and general Drawing for construction and execution. - Experience in creating Shop Drawings that meet the requirements for on-site implementation. - Ability to read and produce Architectural Drawings, understanding building layouts, sections, and elevations. - Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and preferably experience in drafting MEP or lighting layouts. - A diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field. - Familiarity with lighting fixtures, electrical layouts, and basic building codes would be advantageous. - Prior experience in a design studio, architectural firm, or lighting consultancy is beneficial for this role.
