About the role
ABOUT YOUR ROLE: You will be an integral part of the sourcing development team, working with internal and external stakeholders, managing the end-to-end product development process, and leading initiatives aimed at process improvement and meeting various business requirements. You will support your manager to ensure all products hit the calendar deadline dates, working with the brand development teams, and the sourcing headquarters in Singapore to ensure our products are developed at the forefront of sustainability and in alignment with the brand design and future vision. This position requires frequent travel to factory sites across the designated locations. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong knowledge of vendor capabilities and product intricacies. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with factory and internal cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: (but not limited to) Ensure adherence to the brand development calendar timeline, effectively raising problems, when found and discuss solutions with your manager Work with vendors to deliver on-time execution of all samples and support technical design requirements for the assigned brand category Work with your manager to understand the brand product development strategies and execute operational activities with internal teams and vendors independently Effectively implement work plans with regular monitoring against the direction and work with your manager to prioritize actions with internal and external counterparts. Analyzing data and provide summaries to support vendor performance Accountable to work with internal stakeholders across Production, Global Material Supply, Logistics and Quality teams to achieve the brand goals and objectives. Confidently speak up and express your own views with authenticity and provide supporting data to improve efficiency. Participate in company-wide initiatives to promote VF purpose activation and to improve VF Asia Product Supply systems and processes. EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE Academic Degree. Textile or related field Preferred. Working Experience 2 years related to sourcing. Language Proficiency: Good communication skills in English. Local language proficiency will be an advantage.
