Innovation Product Manager

As a Product Manager at The Product Highway (TPH), you will play a crucial role in owning the product detail of a fast-moving voice-first, AI-native consumer product. Your responsibilities will include turning high-level direction into specifications for engineers, identifying edge cases missed by designers, and resolving ambiguity in a timely manner. You will not be managing timelines but instead focusing on the substance of what gets built, reporting directly to the Product Lead. The product is in its early stages, and the scope may evolve rapidly, which should excite you rather than unsettle you. In this role, you will be responsible for: - End-to-end product delivery, from problem discovery to launch, and measuring success. - Developing clear product specifications, including PRDs, user flows, edge cases, and acceptance criteria. - Prioritizing tasks effectively, sequencing the backlog by impact vs. effort, and keeping the team focused on key objectives. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams daily to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality releases. - Making data-informed decisions, defining relevant metrics, analyzing funnels and cohorts, conducting experiments, and acting on results. - Driving AI-powered features from concept to production, while focusing on the overall user experience. - Incorporating feedback loops into the product roadmap based on user feedback, stakeholder input, and launch insights. - Managing ambiguity effectively to maintain momentum and quality amidst changing priorities. To be considered for this role, you must have: - 24 years of product management experience in a product company or consulting firm, with a track record of owning requirements and delivering real products to users. - Experience in writing specifications that directly influence the development process. - Strong product sense and user empathy, particularly for consumer mobile products. - Technical intuition to engage effectively with engineering teams and understand complex software systems. - Proficiency in data analysis, including product analytics, funnels, basic SQL, and experimentation. - Excellent written communication skills, with a knack for clear and structured documentation. - Proactive attitude towards problem-solving, thriving in ambiguous environments with rapidly changing scopes. - Ability to work on-site in Bangalore. Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include: - Hands-on experience in AI product management, specifically in shipping AI/ML-powered features. - Exposure to voice, audio, or multimodal product development. - Prior experience in early-stage startups or building products under uncertainty. - Technical proficiency or the ability to engage with technical concepts and partners effectively. - Familiarity with high-scale mobile or Gen-Z consumer products. Given TPH's focus on AI-powered products, you should be comfortable working with AI technologies, including: - Specifying and implementing features powered by AI/ML. - Evaluating model trade-offs, designing AI UX, and leveraging AI tools for faster work processes. - Collaborating with ML engineers and making informed product decisions related to AI.
