General Engineer for Aviation Systems Apply now Job no: 501888 Department: Rotorcraft Systems Engineering Simulation Center Work type: Staff Full-time Exempt Location: Alabama Categories: Research - Engineering Purpose of the Position: The General Engineer for Aviation Systems provides support for UAS general development and integration of aviation components. Duties/Responsibilities • Serve as an Engineer for UAS general development and integration of aviation components • Develop and Maintain integration software and hardware • Maintain the configuration of integration software and hardware • Support program and technical interchange meetings • Support customer technical interchange meetings • Support hands on testing of UAS operations and software functions • Conduct demonstration for customers Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor's degree - preferably in science, engineering, or business • 2 - 4 years of full-time verifiable work experience. • Ability to develop and integrate software and systems in the accomplishment of Aviation and Aerospace requirements • Experience in UAS development, integration and operations • Computer Programming Languages for Aviation and Aerospace programs • UAS pilot using Part 107 • Knowledge and use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools • U.S. citizenship required Desired Qualifications: • Master's degree or equivalent years of experience in an engineering, scientific or aviation management field Published Salary (if available): $58,000 Advertised: Dec 13 2024 Central Standard Time Applications close: Back to search results Apply now Refer a friend Whatsapp Facebook LinkedIn Email App
