Research Engineer III Apply now Job no: 501719 Department: Rotorcraft Systems Engineering Simulation Center Work type: Staff Full-time Exempt Location: Alabama Categories: Research - Engineering Purpose of the Position: The Integration and Interoperability Engineer provides support for the integration of aviation components with software enterprise and cloud-based solutions for a lab. Duties/Responsibilities • Engineer for integration of aviation components with software enterprise and cloud-based solutions for a lab • Develop and Maintain integration software and hardware • Maintain the configuration of integration software and hardware • Support program and technical interchange meetings • Support customer technical interchange meetings • Support hands on testing of interoperability and software functions • Conduct demonstration for customers Minimum Requirements: • Master's degree - preferably in science, engineering; Experience in a specialized area may be substituted for a degree; 2 - 4 years verifiable full-time work experience. • Ability to develop and integrate software in the accomplishment of Aviation and Aerospace requirements • Experience in UAS development, integration and operations • Computer Programming Languages for Aviation and Aerospace programs • U.S. Citizenship Required Desired Qualifications: Published Salary (if available): $82,884 - $105,458 Advertised: Oct 16 2024 Central Daylight Time Applications close: Back to search results Apply now Refer a friend Whatsapp Facebook LinkedIn Email App
