Purpose of the Role
To lead the operation, optimization, troubleshooting, and performance improvement of water treatment, wastewater treatment, water recycling, and desalination plants while ensuring compliance with statutory, environmental, and operational requirements.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Lead operation, troubleshooting, optimization, and performance improvement of WTP, ETP, STP, WWTP, RO Desalination, Water Recycling, and ZLD plants.
Provide technical expertise on treatment technologies including Softening, UF, RO, MBR, MEE, MVR, Desalination, Aerobic & Anaerobic Biological Treatment Systems, Sludge Dryers, Decanters, and associated utilities.
Support engineering reviews, process design validation, commissioning activities, performance guarantee tests, and plant audits.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, statutory requirements, discharge norms, and water quality standards.
Optimize plant performance through improved water recovery, reduced chemical consumption, lower energy usage, and minimized operating costs.
Lead troubleshooting of membrane systems, desalination units, evaporators, crystallizers, and biological treatment processes.
Drive water conservation, wastewater reuse, sustainability, and circular water management initiatives.
Support project execution, technology selection, process evaluation, vendor assessment, and technical due diligence.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance, reliability improvement, and asset management programs for critical equipment.

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions for recurring operational issues.

Coordinate with customers, consultants, regulatory authorities, OEMs, and internal stakeholders to achieve operational and business objectives.

Mentor plant teams and establish best practices for safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations.
