As a Business Analyst II at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a crucial role in bridging business needs with technology solutions to support the mission of enabling customers to create a healthier, cleaner, and safer world. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze processes, gather requirements, and implement innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Working in an agile environment, you will define and document business requirements, create user stories, facilitate workshops, and ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze processes and gather requirements to drive operational efficiency - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions - Define and document business requirements - Create user stories and facilitate workshops - Ensure successful project delivery - Work with advanced technologies to contribute to critical business initiatives Qualifications Required: - Advanced Degree or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process improvement - Preferred Fields of Study: Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field - Professional certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt, PMP, Scrum Master, or CSPO are preferred - Proficiency in agile methodologies and project management principles - Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting using tools like Excel, Power BI, SQL - Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other project management/documentation tools - Excellent requirements gathering and documentation capabilities - Strong communication and facilitation skills for leading workshops and stakeholder meetings - Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements - Experience creating user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria - Proficiency in conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) - Effective in cross-functional environments - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills - Experience with ERP systems (SAP, JD Edwards) preferred - Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) Please note that travel may be required for this role, ranging from 5-25% depending on the specific responsibilities assigned.
