Role Overview: Join us as a Clinical Data Management Programmer I and make an impact at the forefront of innovation. The Clinical Data Management Programmer I works with clinical data management systems and programming tools to provide programming support in data management activities and deliverables. You will be responsible for tasks such as database development, data validations, project database design, and data review listings. Your role will involve working within a multidisciplinary project team to complete assigned tasks on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: - Perform tasks within established timelines following departmental procedures and project contract guidelines - Design, build, and test project databases with edit checks - Define and import data into the system - Create and test listings for data review - Research and leverage resources to resolve issues and manage tasks through the development of new knowledge and skills - Increase knowledge base and professional skills in programming and technology - Support a multidisciplinary team and assist with lead programming activities under oversight - Ensure adherence to departmental working practice documents and SOPs - Contribute to informal training materials Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant formal academic or vocational qualifications - 0 to 2 years of previous experience providing the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities - Good written, verbal, and computer skills - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage deadlines - Knowledge of programming languages or relational database systems - Ability to maintain confidentiality with clinical and proprietary data - Working knowledge of GCPs and applicable SOPs - Ability to work well with others and demonstrate initiative and motivation Additional Details: Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Occasional drives to site locations and travel, both domestic and international, may be required.
