As a Software Engineer III, youll design and implement sophisticated software applications that control our electron microscopes and analytical instruments, helping customers make discoveries that improve lives worldwide. REQUIREMENTS: Heres a streamlined version that keeps the key additions relevant to a UI Technical Lead/Senior UI Engineer role and removes redundant or less relevant items: Job Description Bachelors degree in Software Engineering or equivalent, with more than 7 years of experience in software development in a commercial environment. 7+ years of experience in UI development using Angular, HTML, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Experience in end-to-end software development lifecycle, including development, testing, releases, and production support. Experience with Agile development methodologies and PI planning Active participation in PI Planning and feature demos, including presenting solutions to stakeholders, gathering feedback, and implementing improvements. Experience with AI-assisted software development practices, including AIDLC, Spec-Driven Development, and Agentic coding approaches. Experience mentoring engineers and serving as a technical lead for UI development initiatives. Ability to design and develop reusable, scalable UI components and frameworks. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams. Knowledge of version control systems such as Git. Ability to triage and resolve UI production issues or customer incidents within agreed SLAs and recommend effective workarounds to minimize customer impact.
