Role Overview: At Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a crucial role as a Product Specialist III for the Sample Preparation Consumables portfolio within the Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD) and the High Performance Chromatography Solutions (HPCS) Business Unit. In this role, you will contribute to the success of strategically important consumables that support chromatography and LC-MS workflows by applying your technical expertise and market knowledge. Key Responsibilities: - Support the full product lifecycle of the Sample Preparation consumables portfolio, including planning, launch, growth, and end-of-life activities. - Contribute to portfolio strategies and business plans that drive revenue growth, profitability, and customer value. - Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify commercial and innovation opportunities. - Translate customer and market insights into product requirements, roadmap inputs, and prioritization recommendations. - Collaborate with various teams such as Instrumentation Product Management, R&D, Applications, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to support workflow-based solutions. - Assist with product launches, commercialization activities, and support sales teams, distributors, and channel partners. - Engage with customers to understand application needs and gather feedback on product concepts. - Monitor portfolio performance using forecasts, market data, and insights to support decision-making. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related life sciences field, or equivalent practical experience. - Experience in product management, product marketing, sales, applications, or a related technical or commercial role. - Familiarity with sample preparation technologies and exposure to chromatography and/or mass spectrometry workflows. - Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Analytical approach with the ability to translate information into practical recommendations. - Comfort working independently in a global, matrixed organization. - Willingness to travel approximately 20%, including international travel.
