DESCRIPTION: Join our collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Engineer II, Software Quality Assurance, where you'll contribute to ensuring the excellence of our software solutions. You'll work with advanced technologies to develop and execute comprehensive test strategies that support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. In this position, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate software applications, maintain automated test suites, and contribute to quality improvements throughout the development lifecycle. Your expertise in both manual and automated testing will help ensure our products meet the highest standards of reliability and performance. REQUIREMENTS: Primary Responsibilities: Prepare Tosca Test scripts and test cases based on functional specifications and end-user requirements Need to develop and maintain Tosca automated test cases of Web applications in Selenium WebDriver using the Java programming language and the Tosca tool Developed and maintained automated test cases of Desktop applications using the Tosca tool Participated in end-to-end scenario creation, which included functional and infrastructure utilization, and demonstrated to the client Participated in smoke and regression test executions Executing the automation test suites and reporting the results to management Logging the defects, re-testing, and closing them TOSCA Admin knowledge(User enrollment process & Framework) as an added advantage Validating the change orders in the production environment and QA environment based on the changes in the ticket Participating in proactive monitoring in the prod environment daily Track the incoming issues/service requests through the ServiceNow incident management tool, meet response and resolution SLA, and provide a solution for the issue Having meetings with PSM regarding business functionality changes and enhancements Implemented GIT version control for test automation Implemented CI/CD Pipeline in Azure DevOps for automation script executions Performed Infrastructure testing based on change requests Supporting team members Experienced in the quest for maintaining the manual test cases and test results Followed the Agile process, daily stand-ups & sprint meetings Manual test case creation and execution planning Involved in functional and non-functional testing Training and Other achievements involved: 1) AS1 TOSCA Certification 2) AS2 TOSCA Certification 3) API & SAP Certifications added advantages for this position Education & Experience: Any Master's Degree ( BE, MBA & MCA) in Toxicology, Chemistry, Biology, or other life sciences. Overall, 5 Years of experience in Software Testing and SAP (Fiori & S4 Hana) Application support experience with TOSCA automation primarily Minimum 3 years of Experience in automation (TOSCA Automation tool), learning core concepts of automation. Requires strong analytical skills and the ability to accurately handle large amounts of detailed information. Proven ability to work in a team environment and to work independently. Proven ability to learn sophisticated databases. Attention to computer-use ergonomic issues. Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Promotes understanding of customer requirements and expectations. Able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel. Demonstrated ability to work effectively on multiple assignments concurrently. Reprioritizes work quickly to meet changing demands. Must be motivated to learn on the job and take initiative for training. Understand the customer requirements and prioritize contagious optimism and a can-do demeanor. Skills: Overall, 5 Years of experience in Software Testing and SAP (Fiori & S4 Hana) Application support experience with TOSCA automation primarily Minimum 3 years of Experience in automation (TOSCA Automation tool), learning core concepts of automation. Any masters degree preferred: MBA/MCA/BI TOSCA Automation Experience with the framework; developed at least 1 complete application (End-to-End). TOSCA Certified professional for the 2 core certifications Experience in Tosca Test suite with navigation and steering capabilities Hands-on test case creation, management, and execution of quality .
