As a Senior Manager, IT Asset Management at ThermoFisher Scientific, you will be part of the Corporate Technology team focused on implementing and maintaining an internal technology portfolio. You will play a key role in leading enterprise Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) capabilities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and optimization of asset information for downstream processes. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the IT Asset Management strategy across HAM and SAM, including lifecycle governance. - Own and enhance ITAM processes, standards, policies, controls, and governance frameworks globally. - Drive alignment between ITAM, CMDB, Discovery, and ServiceNow platform processes to improve data quality. - Oversee software compliance, hardware lifecycle governance, and automation initiatives. - Define KPIs/OKRs for ITAM maturity, compliance posture, cost avoidance, and operational efficiency. - Identify risks and drive mitigation plans, lead transformation programs, and mentor team members. - Represent ITAM in governance forums, audits, and transformation programs. Required Skills & Experience: - 15+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, IT Operations, CMDB, ServiceNow, or related roles. - Leadership experience in managing ITAM teams, programs, or enterprise-wide asset management initiatives. - Deep expertise in Hardware and Software Asset Management in complex global environments. - Strong understanding of ServiceNow ITAM, CMDB, and various inventory platforms. - Experience with software licensing models, compliance reviews, and hardware lifecycle management. - Ability to define operating models, process controls, governance frameworks, and financial acumen. - Knowledge of ITIL, ITSM, Change, Incident, Procurement, Security, and CMDB interdependencies. - Proven ability to influence stakeholders, drive alignment, and lead transformation initiatives. Education: Bachelors degree in business, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications: - ITIL Foundation certification or higher. - Certified Software Asset Manager, Certified IT Asset Manager, or equivalent ITAM certification. - ServiceNow ITAM certifications, including HAM Pro and/or SAM Pro. - Experience leading ITAM transformation in a global shared services model. - Familiarity with automation, AI-enabled workflows, predictive analytics, and executive reporting.
