As a Staff Manufacturing Engineer, you'll provide technical leadership for complex manufacturing processes, equipment automation, and capital projects. You'll collaborate across multiple functions to enhance production efficiency, ensure product quality, and implement advanced technologies. This role offers the opportunity to solve complex technical challenges while supporting our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. Key Responsibilities Lead cross-functional technical escalations, coordinating rapid diagnosis and resolution of critical operational incidents Own and drive high-impact operational programs, improving system reliability, scalability, and resilience Act as a technical incident commander for major events, ensuring structured response, clear communication, and timely recovery Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to translate operational challenges into strategic improvements Identify systemic issues and drive root cause analysis and long-term remediation efforts Navigate across all levels of the organization, providing clear communication from technical teams to executive stakeholders Rapidly switch between domains and topics, maintaining effectiveness in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Apply broad technical expertise to assess trade-offs, risks, and dependencies across complex systems Influence without authority to align teams and drive execution across organizational boundaries Qualifications Proven experience as a Staff or Principal Engineer in an operations-heavy or production-critical environment Strong background in system reliability, incident management, and operational excellence Demonstrated ability to lead major incident responses and cross-team escalations Broad technical knowledge across relevant systems (e.g., software, infrastructure, data pipelines, hardware) Experience driving end-to-end improvements from incident to long-term resolution Ability to prioritize and context-switch effectively under pressure Strong communication skills, with experience engaging both technical teams and senior leadership Key Traits Calm and decisive under pressure Systems thinker with strong operational intuition Highly adaptable and able to shift context quickly Strong ownership and accountability mindset Focused on outcomes, reliability, and continuous improvement Thank you for your interest as you consider starting a new career journey with us.
