About the role
Role Overview: As a leader, you will guide engineering teams in designing and constructing scalable, distributed systems. Your primary focus will be on overseeing complex software development lifecycles, implementing scalable applications using event-driven architecture and microservices, managing RESTful Web APIs and backend services, handling client interactions and technical requirements, and resolving architectural issues while upholding software design best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Lead engineering teams through complex software development lifecycles. - Design and implement scalable applications using event-driven architecture and microservices. - Build and maintain RESTful Web APIs and backend services. - Manage client interactions and technical requirements. - Troubleshoot architectural issues and enforce software design best practices. Qualifications Required: - 8 to 12 years of software industry experience. - Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and ASP.NET Web API. - In-depth knowledge of OOP and fundamental design principles. - Hands-on experience with T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and PostgreSQL. - Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure, specifically Redis Cache, Elasticsearch, and Application Insights. - Proficiency with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience implementing microservices and event-driven architecture. - Working knowledge of SCM platforms like GIT or TFS and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with ORMs and unit testing. - Experience with JavaScript frameworks, preferably Angular.
