Are you ready to take the lead in safeguarding sensitive data on a global scale? We're looking for a Senior Information Security Specialist who thrives on tackling data protection challenges in an enterprise environment. In this pivotal role, you'll drive data loss prevention strategies, monitor and respond to security alerts, and collaborate across teams to reduce risks related to data exfiltration and insider threats. Your expertise will help shape detection logic, refine security operations, and ensure comprehensive documentation of every investigation and response. About the Role: Own daily monitoring, triage, and investigation of DLP alerts across endpoint, email, and cloud channels Analyze data handling activity to identify exfiltration risk, policy violations, and insider threat indicators Escalate confirmed incidents to the IR team with clear, well-documented findings Partner with business units and security stakeholders to remediate risky data handling and close policy gaps Recommend improvements to DLP detection rules, alert fidelity, and policy tuning Build and maintain playbooks, runbooks, and SOPs for DLP alert handling and investigation workflows Document every investigation in the case management system with a high degree of accuracy Contribute to metrics and reporting on DLP program effectiveness, trends, and risk reduction Collaborate with SOC and broader security teams on cross-functional detection and response efforts About You: 5+ years of experience investigating and triaging security alerts in a SOC, security analyst, or similar operational security role Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills — you can explain why an alert matters, not just that it fired, and know how to pull the thread on ambiguous or incomplete evidence Solid understanding of networking, operating systems, and cloud environments, with the ability to trace how data and users move across them Familiarity with SIEM and EDR tooling, and comfort correlating findings across multiple data sources during an investigation Working knowledge of insider risk indicators and common data exfiltration techniques Strong documentation habits — experience working investigations end-to-end within a case management or ticketing system Comfortable operating independently while collaborating closely with a broader SOC and security team Bonus, not required: hands-on experience with DLP platforms, email security gateways, or cloud data protection tools — we'll train up the specific tooling #LI-DD3 What’s in it For You?
