AEM Developer

Title : AEM Developer Location : Dallas TX or Pleasanton CA (onsite 2-days per week) Duration : 6 months Visa status : USC,GC,GC-EAD,H4EAD

Key Responsibilities : • Build highly usable and performant web applications meeting business requirements using the Adobe AEM platform and related web development tools, including Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and related technologies. • Determines and implements the most efficient and cost effective solutions. • Provide guidance on latest technology trends and future directions. • Analyze complex business requirements, creating technical specifications for complex platforms and applications. • Analyze problems outlined by Product Management and Business Systems Analysts in terms of detailed technology requirements and capabilities. • Act as a technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts. • Verify program logic using testing and debugging best practices (TDD,BDD), including design of testing systems and preparation of test data. • Use Agile SCRUM model to deliver solutions with high level of flexibility and adaptability. • Participate in, design and implement all aspects of code lifecycle, including design & implementations of CI/CD pipelines, deployment and operational concerns. • Develop new documentation, doc standards, technical procedures, user guides and operational workflows.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree (Computer Science, Information Systems or related functional field). • 6+ years of UI programming experience including Adobe AEM 6.3-6.5, Advanced HTML/HTL, JavaScript, Java, OSGi, CSS, APIs, JSON data, Ajax, and XSL. • 2+ years working with JavaScript libraries like jQuery, Bootstrap and frameworks like AngularJS and ReactJS • 2+ years backend service layer integration (authentication/3rd party feeds) using Ajax, REST API. • 2+ years working with AEM or similar Content Management System. • Well versed with best practices of designing responsive web applications. • Well versed with the latest trends in web and mobile space. • Familiar with UI (functional), JavaScript and Java unit testing and performance testing tools. • Familiar with Jenkins or similar continuous integration tools, SVN or similar source code management systems. • Experience with the full software development lifecycle and software development methodologies (Agile). • Excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail. • Strong knowledge of programming documentation processes/procedures. • Strong ability to understand client expectations and to resolve issues that may affect delivery. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization. • Self-starter, with a demonstrated ability to learn beyond formal training with a strong aptitude for delivering quality products.
