About the role
Role- Android Developer Duration- 4 Months Location- Denver, CO Required Skills Android, Kotlin Top Skills: - Mid to Senior level mobile developer (open to a more junior candidate if they are local and SHARP) - Kotlin experience is a must - Experience using Gitlab for source control - Experience working with Jira - Experience with networking libraries like Retrofit would be nice to have - TV streaming experience would be nice to have Team/ Environment: - Team of 11 Android Devs & Architects GREAT team environment Job Description The Android Developer is responsible for developing the SpecTV Android applications. Activities will include writing software, debugging issues, and ensuring that the project is using best practices. Write software, debug issues and ensure that the project is adhering to best practices. Oversee the coding standards of the department and ensuring they are applied correctly. Effectively communicate with the development team and other related department on best practices. Act as a champion for continuous learning, encouraging everyone to take the initiative on problem solving. Required Experience At least 2+ years’ experience with Kotlin programming language. Experience with Android SDK’s Experience and deep understanding of the network layers, Internet security as well as encryption. Experience in various protocols and data formats related to APIs (JSON, XML, SOAP, TLS, HTTPS). Experience with Android apps in the Android App Store.
