One of the key outcomes of the ETS is to increase our agility by running 90%+ in the cloud and 99.999% mission critical availability. In order to effectively influence the entire IT organization to meet this goal the Cloud Program wants to ensure they are providing a better developer experience than ever before. The Developer Experience initiative is charged with the following: - Identifying the top impediments to developer productivity on modern platform - Finding ways to remove the problems that matter most our engineers - Cultivating a community of individuals who take a ‘developer first’ mindset - Establishing mechanisms that measure developer happiness on a day to day basis As a Tech Lead on the Developer Experience initiative, you can expect to work closely with the subdivision architecture offices, help to define and implement subdivision specific modernization plans, manage and mitigate modernization risks and blockers, identify learning and educational gaps related to modern platforms, and manage demand and financial projections related to modern platform adoption.
