About the role
The Software Engineer will be responsible for: • Shaping the architecture and building out our suite of reporting and client facing products • Continuously improving the process for which we build our products • Making high impact decisions in technology that will help drive our company through the high growth stages • Standardizing the way we operate and maintain our software Qualifications and Education Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or the equivalent experience • At least 3 -5 years of experience working as a software engineer • Experienced in Angular, Typescript, NodeJS, RxJS • Knowledgeable in SASS, Mapbox, Highcharts • Experienced in operationalizing and maintaining software • Experience in functional programming is a plus • Can communicate and collaborate with product and other stakeholders • Develop unit tests and that it will pay multiple times over as we develop • Will strive for producing quality software but also has a bias for action • Is pragmatic and prioritizes the product goals, team goals and organizational goals • Is an advocate for continuous learning and improvement • Knowledge or experience of the TV or advertising industry is a strong plus Required technology competencies include: • Programming languages: TypeScript, Angular • Tools: Jenkins, Git Infrastructure: AWS
