About the role
ROLE:API BACKEND DEVELOPER
Location: REMOTE DURATION: Direct Hire FULL TIME Rate: $105-120k
Requirements
- 5-7 years technical experience preferably in a healthcare or business environment. Required. 5-7 years’ experience in application integrations, APIs, and software development required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting application integrations in a healthcare setting. Experience configuring and supporting application software and related systems in a healthcare setting. Experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting application integrations across clinical and business processes. Experience leading projects with moderate to high complexity. Proficient in HL7/FHIR and related concepts (i.e., APIs, REST, SOAP, Web Services, etc.). Strong analytical ability to solve complex technical problems. Familiarity with Agile methods. Extensive knowledge and working experience with C# and/or Java. Experience with POSTMAN or similar API building platform. Expertise with GitHub, Azure DevOps, or other source control products Experience with developing in a cloud service architecture. Familiarity with Cerner Millennium applications and technical integration within Cerner Millennium, athenaIDX and its Developer Resources, and Health Information Exchanges (HIEs) preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills required. Experience with interface engines (ie, Cloverleaf, Open Engine, Open Link, MirthConnect)
