Role: API Developer Location: San Antonio, TX Duration: 12+ months Vendor/Client: Apex/USAA Required Skills : • Java • REST • Spring boot Basic Qualifications : • java • spring boot • Additional Skills : • Kafka data streaming Required Skills: • 4+ years of software engineering/development • Extensive experience with Rest API Design • Extensive experience with unit testing rest APIs • Experienced using Spring Boot Additional Preferred Experience: • Experience integrating with backend services like JMS, J2C, ORM frameworks (Hibernate, JPA, JDO, etc), JDBC. • Experience with event driven frameworks such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ • Ability to implement container based APIs using a container frameworks OpenShift, Docker, or Kubernetes. • Relational Database design and optimization with Oracle DB2, MySQL, etc. • Experience executing in an AGILE methodology -- Thanks & Regards, K.
