AWS Architect

Role- AWS Architect Duration- 12 Months Location- Minnesota (can sit remotely in MN) Project Scope: Currently have QRM application already in AWS cloud and they are looking for an AWS architect/ Cloud Engineer to come in standing up new instances of QRM. Ideally wants someone that has experience putting QRM into the cloud (specifically AWS). That is hard to find so willing to take just someone that is very strong with AWS, terraform coding, shell script for automation, and testing exposure. This will be a development role where this person will be creating several new environments. Currently have hub and smoke which is a fancy way of setting up an automatic database from refreshers. Not back and forth, just one way. Once things are set up, there will be work with designing the DR environment. Team Size & Breakdown: 1-2 other technical resource on this project along with testing resources and business resources. Development Methodology: Agile Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools): AWS Wants someone that is strong with setting up AWS, and moving data in and out of the cloud, set up automations, spin servers up and down as needed, how to set up disaster recovery requirement. Terraform Candidates that have knowledge and exposure to testing. Will be setting up imports and exports. This person may just be running tests so people that have experience setting up a link to a database in a testing environment will be good. Shell script for automation Nice-to-Haves: QRM If can't find QRM experience, they will be taught. On the QRM side, it is an admin, not a business user!
