AWS Cloud engineer

AWS Cloud engineer 100 remote 12 months to perm Must have: have an active linkedin, relevant certification within 2 years with aws or azure, must have aws AND azure, 3-4 years experience, cloudformation, s3, ec2, on-prem to aws cloud Walk me through the day to day responsibilities of this the role and a description of the project (Outside of Workday JD): Team member will be working directly with app/dev teams to help provision, build, deploy, migrate apps and services on AWS and azure Will be joining multiple daily calls with our team and app teams to troubleshoot and manager day to day workload Resource will be responsible for guiding application teams and providing hands on support Work will be generated via Jira & SN Hands on troubleshooting of AWS services Strong understanding of IAM policies, CloudFormation templates, SAM CLI & AWS CLI. Capability to automate CD using cloud formation Assist in standing up emergency and after-hours response process Assist in build out of the Gitlab based CI/CD pipeline to AWS Cloud to ensure we follow the best practices to perform unit testing, integration system testing, and reliable deployments. Expertise in migrating on-prem applications to AWS Cloud on both Serverless frameworks and Microservices[Preferred] based Solutions Describe the performance expectations/metrics for this individual and their team: Daily/Weekly engagement in teams calls Consistent status updates for any in progress work and customer check ins Completion of stories and tickets within agreed upon timelines
