Role: AWS CLoud engineer

Location: Remote Duration: 6+months Job Description The AWS Cloud Engineer I will be suppor6ng best practices based on secure architecture within our public cloud environment. The ideal candidate has experience in modern cloud prac6ces ranging from

micro services-based architectures, cloud infrastructure services, guardrails, and iden6ty. This role

requires support and implementa6on experience to ensure success in our transforma6onal journey.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Hands-on role, responsible for the support and implementation of AWS cloud services including

infrastructure, machine learning and artificial intelligence platform services.

• Responsible for supporting cloud strategies at scale leveraging Python, Golang and Terraform tooling,

promoting infrastructure as code to accelerate our cloud program.

• Build cloud-native services to support application teams and contribute to the development of cloud

infrastructure automation.

• Support application teams in leveraging cloud based artificial intelligence platforms and services,

enhancing internal customer experiences.

• Create and maintain technical documentation for the team to reference and share with our internal

customers

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information systems or comparable with 3-5 years of relevant

experience

• Demonstrated experience in Infrastructure as Code best practices and experience with building

Terraform modules for AWS cloud.

• Demonstrated experience in supporting AWS organizations and policy guardrails operations (SCP, AWS

Config)

• Experience in either Python or Golang coding languages

• Experience deploying production applications into cloud environments

• Experience with RESTful APIs and scripting

AWS certification is a plus

• Financial industry experience is a plus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
