AWS Data Architect

Title: Sr AWS Data Architect Location: 6 Months Contract to Hire Location: Dallas, TX / Mansfield, Visa: W2 & Own Corporation & 1099 Description The Data Architect role reports into the VP, Data & Analytics, responsible for overall architecture and solutions for data architecture, pipelines, documentation, center of excellence on our internal data lake and data warehouses. The candidate must possess a consistent positive attitude, be an enthusiastic problem-solver, be an effective communicator, and be able to work independently. Essential Functions & Responsibilities 10+ years experience as a Data Architect in the analytics space. Experience in defining and driving the implementation of modern data lake solutions using AWS services. Capable of defining, building and deploying CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket. Can provide technical leadership for a team of techno-functional Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and DevOps resources. Must have a strong ERP OLTP structure understanding and an ERP functional background in order to interpret requirements and design solutions that meet specific operational and analytical data exploration needs. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to be able to work directly with key stakeholders in the Business and within Corporate IT leadership. Should have experience in Agile Scrum methodology using Jira software.
