AWS Solutions Architect with Certification

Role: AWS SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT Location: Remote to Jersey City, NJ, Bellevue, WA or Burlingame, CA. REMOTE until further notice, then onsite! Duration: Full Time position, NEEDS: 8-10+ Years of experience! AWS CERTIFIED- At least associate – Must have Extensive experience with AWS API Development Experience (PYTHON, JAVA, OR GO) SENIOR LEVEL! Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join the Verisk Analytics Cloud Center of Excellence team supporting the migration and optimization of applications and services to run on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role will support our Financial Services vertical and will be responsible for driving our re-architecture and migration of Microsoft based solutions to AWS. The ideal candidate will have broad architecture experience, both application and infrastructure, with demonstrated experience in migrating complex data platforms to AWS. The Cloud Solutions Architect will assess existing platforms, design the future state, and execute the migration of applications and infrastructure to AWS cloud native solutions. The role requires solid experience in cloud computing environments, hands on technical skills, passion, and appetite to master new technologies, and excellent communication skills. Qualifications • Minimum of 10 years of architecture experience • Minimum of 8 years of software development/coding experience • Experience architecting cloud infrastructures on AWS for small, medium scale and enterprise level applications • AWS Certified Associate Level required, Professional preferred • Hands-on experience with cloud adoption and migration from assessment through cloud native implementation • Experience with container orchestration platforms and serverless • Experience coding in higher level programming language: Python, Java or Go
