Powershell - nice to have, not required - would set apart from other candidates Basic Qualifications : Additional Skills : Job Description : Project Overview: This position calls for a Active Directory / Azure Engineer with broad infrastructure and information technology expertise. This position is responsible for Architecting and Engineering an enterprise class hybrid-cloud infrastructure. Contractor's Role: This position is responsible for managing all aspects of platform services, including, but not limited to: Azure/O365, (Active Directory, DNS, Intune). This is a hands-on technical position, and a deep knowledge of services infrastructure and platforms is crucial for immediate success. Experience Level: 5-7 years experience required Qualifications: • Must have a thorough (advanced to expert) understanding of IT security and implementation of established government security related guidelines and impact on IT infrastructure • Extensive experience with Azure Administration, building resource groups and managing IaaS deployments. • Expert knowledge of Intune App Protection Policies and Azure Conditional Access Policies. • PowerShell scripting experience • Experience with Azure/AWS • Demonstrated problem solving ability across an integrated, multi-server environment • Expert working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy to manage the enterprise environment. • Broad and in-depth understanding of all Office 365 application’s functionality and governance. • Ability to work independently and research/resolve technical issues and solutions • Strong communication and organizational skills Nice to Haves: • Powershell Scripts • Provide Azure AD Connect Federation and Pass through authentication single sign on expertise Tasks and Responsibilities: • Serve as a knowledge expert on Microsoft 365 applications, advising on best practices and third-party integration. • Hands-on technical experience in designing, building and securing AWS and Azure services • Practical knowledge and have implemented DevSecOps frameworks and methodologies • Provide hands-on design, enhancing and implementation of Office 365 solutions, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server Online, Microsoft Exchange Hybrid, Azure Active Directory, DNS, AD Connect, and Azure App Proxy. • Experience with deploying conditional access policies • Provide Azure AD Connect Federation and Pass Through Authentication Single Sign-on expertise. • Streamline Enterprise Application onboarding and set-up SSO via Azure AD. • Manage AD Certificate services- support PKI infrastructure in addition to issuing and installing certificates. • Provide technology leadership in the management of centralized directories (such as LDAP, AD, AAD) to ensure flexible but granular security levels when applied to organizational data, system processes, organizational employees, and consultants/vendors. • Administer the Microsoft 365 portal and monitor service health and for alerts, status, etc. • Familiarity with Native Azure security solutions (Azure Security Center, Conditional Access Policies) big plus • Develop PowerShell scripts to streamline administrative tasks. • Execution of above plans developed for deliverables above.
