About the role
Role: Azure Cloud Administrator Duration: 6 Months Location: Remote Visa: $80/hr on w2 Required Skills: Azure Cloud administration: And Architecture - Technical proficiency within Iaas, Paas, Saas, terraform - Linux – tomcat servers - App runs in Java, need someone who has scripting in multiple or other languages (nice to have) - Security training/cert/experience is a plus Job Descripiton: Need: - 1 current admin is going through all of the migration process: 3 Cloud Admins currently supporting the app for all environments - Need to bring on another resource to support the application once it is live in the cloud - Need someone to hit the ground running, current admin with Cloud App Support - Will support migration and app in cloud post migration: Will support all cloud environments with primary focus on prod and architectural recommendations as we modernize the application to ensure resiliency and scalability D2D: - Maintaining cloud environment o Security patching o Production support – in cloud - Collaborate w/ on shore and off shore teams/admins Please provide a summary of the project/initiative that this candidate will be working on? Daily operational support and architectural planning for application hosted on Azure Cloud. Please describe the team the candidate will be working with - how many members? This role will work closely with various teams which includes site reliability engineers, platform engineers and software engineers. Overall team size approx 200 What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position (please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)? Setting cloud system security strategies, policies, and procedures, Resolving operational and security issues including vulnerabilities, Configuring and supporting cloud systems, Provisioning cloud infrastructure, Managing firewalls and overseeing network security What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background specific industry experience etc.)?Extensive experience in Azure Cloud administration and architecture What skills/attributes are required (please be detailed as to number of years of experience for each skill)? 5+ years Azure Cloud administration and/or Azure Cloud Architecture What skills/attributes are preferred (what will set a candidate apart)?
