About the role
Role: Azure Data Egineer Duration: 6 Months Location: Remote Required Skills: Lead Azure Engineer Job Description: • Lead, Mentor, Coach a team of Azure Engineers • Represent product and team in leadership calls • Oversee team assignments • Develop and facilitate ongoing training of the product, policies and procedures • Monitor team performance for continuous improvement • Partner with Cloud Engineering peers – IT Security Managers and Public Cloud Services Platform Engineers – to deliver a fully automated and secure Azure platform for our application owners and business partners. • Develop security best practices through the Azure platform • Develop and maintain conditional access policies • Develop and maintain application registration in the Azure platform • Maintain certificates used in the Azure platform • Develop process and procedures for Azure • Experience with Graph API a plus • Experience with scripting a plus Manager Notes: • Azure has been a product Centene has had but there has been no focus on it so they need to build it out. Team of 5. Architect, Lead, Sr Engineer, Engineer & Analyst. • The team will be required to have on-call rotations. It is not confirmed yet but it will likely be 1 week straight of 24/7 on call responsibility. • This person will need to have experience leading a team, mentoring, coaching and overseeing the product ownership • Centene will ask this person to acquire an NAC cert upon conversion to full time, which is just essentially a bit more in depth background check, nothing too extensive.
