About the role
Role: Azure Synapse Developer
Duration: Full time Position Loation: Norwalk, CT (Can reverse commute via train from NYC) – 4 days a week onsite mandatory! Visa: w2 Salary: 95,000 – 125,000 + 10% Annual bonus, Benefits, PTO, Holiday pay, 401k Match, etc.
Job Description: Seeking a full time/direct hire Azure Synapse Developer for their Asset management team of 7. In the current state of the project they have migrated three business sectors into one and consolidated subledgers and CRM systems. The team is also just migrated to Azure could and will be using Azure synapse for analytics and reporting. Current reporting is a lot of manual excel spreadsheets.
Future State End Goal: • Enterprise Datawarehouse with self-service reporting • Hasn’t started this process at all, would need to road map how to consolidate the current 3 DWs to one first • Add in Azure Synapse to automate the reporting • Needs to implement MDM, Data Quality & Data Governance, doesn’t exist right now
Must Haves: • 3-5 years of experience working with Azure Synapse -MUST HAVE • Axis and Teradata experience • Experience working with enterprise data warehouses
