About the role
ROLE: Banner Developer
Location: Remote, but must live in Columbia, MD or Chicago, IL DURATION:12+ MONTHS
Must Haves from Manager: General Ellucian Banner experience, doesn’t have to be specific modules. In-depth knowledge of functional business processes across all Banner modules (Student, AR, Finance, Financial Aid, and Admissions) Hands-on expertise with Banner systems including Banner Job Submission, posting, data imports, data exports, baseline and modified C Programs, shell scripts, and other Banner-related processes. Ability to develop and process data files and API imports/exports between non-Banner systems. Develop and support any necessary enhancements to Banner or other 3rd party applications. Support the development and technical functionality of UDC’s business applications, including Ellucian's Banner (Student, Finance, Financial Aid, and Admissions
General Responsibilities: Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research to develop or modify information systems. Assist in the preparation of detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain enterprise applications.
Technical Expertise: Hands-on expertise with Banner systems including Banner Job Submission, posting, data imports, data exports, baseline and modified C Programs, shell scripts, and other Banner-related processes. In-depth knowledge of functional business processes across all Banner modules. Ability to develop and process data files and API imports/exports between non-Banner systems.
Qualifications

Proven experience with Banner systems and related processes. Strong understanding of functional business processes across Banner modules. Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.
