About the role
JOB DESCRIPTION Role : BI Developer Location: Remote to start Duration: 6 Months Contract: W2
This role can be remote. The BI developer will be experienced in business reporting, financial management, and business metrics surrounding technology teams. As a member of a team, you will work closely with business partners in maintaining accountably of objectives and key results, (OKRs), business metrics and other accountabilities within the Infrastructure, Operations, and Cloud organization. This role needs a self-starter with superb communication and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate business requirements into accurate data-driven results and insights for technology leadership. The BI Developer will also create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge. In this role, you have a background in data and business analysis. Working closely with IO&C and other related colleagues to understand business requirements and use or create technology solutions to achieve them Demonstrating superb acuity for handling priorities to ensure you are working on the most impactful item to add new value, adjusting quickly and effectively as needed if required by the business Developing strong relationships across the Firm and cultivating the team’s linkages with the Finance, HR and the broader technology/strategy community Adopting leading practices to create efficiencies and drive toward better results-focused business outcomes Working with various tools/platforms to deliver high-impact reporting for and on behalf of IO&C. Evaluating needs and parameters of the inquiry management process and making recommendations as to the effectiveness and adequacy of certain internal data production tools What you have BA/BS degree or equivalent experience 6 - 10 years related experience, preferably in financial services and/or technology space. Outstanding communication skills Analytical skills that you employ to take initiative in solving problems creatively Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously Ability to coordinate a variety of data sources, and to discuss design and results with non-technical colleagues Experience developing, automating, and maintaining reports, dashboards, and/or self-service tools
