About the role
Role: BI Developer Location: Remote Duration: 6 + Months Must Haves: Develop ETL/DW best practices and participate as a reviewer and contributor in requirement, design and code reviews Leads on shore and offshore developers on various initiatives Participates in resource planning and task estimation Create/maintain design related artifacts data models, Mapping documents, architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams As the ETL/BI Developer you will be coding, testing, debugging, implementing, and documenting moderately complex programs Creating documentation to show work / data flows (DFD, ERD, ) and end - user resources Working as a part of a team to manage and deliver quality and robust system enhancements to critical systems, as required by the business Designing and developing C# and VBScript enhancements to an existing application that automates the system via Web Methods and Control-M Working within the technology team to assist with best-practice technical tasks Assisting with the technical configuration of QRM Qualifications for SSIS developer: Certifications related to data mining Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent experience Thorough knowledge of SSIS components with a broad range of experience transforming data from CSV files, XML files, and common relational database sources and destinations Hands-on development experience with Transact-SQL, including stored procedure development Strong knowledge of relational database logical and physical design including star schemas and data cubes Experience in working with distributed development teams.
