About the role
Role:Big Data Developer
Location: Iselin, NJ(3 days a week onsite) Duration:6-24 months to perm
3+ years of total experience, primarily as a Big Data Developer Experience with Big Data platforms/tools (Linux, HDFS, Hive, Hortonworks, Spark, Scala, Python, Java, Kafka, etc.) Experience with API’s, reading from and/or designing new Ability to write SQL and interact with data Data processing experience (Join, Merge, Transform, Summarize, etc.) Ability to design and create data control checks out 5 years on the technical side (not being an end user or business user) of Oracle Essbase, along with SQL Server for relational database use. Later on in the role will leverage Python and PowerBI - able to teach up here
