Big Data Engineer

Interview Process: - 1-hr coding assessment in Scala - 1-hr technical IV with the MGM data engineering team - 20-min follow-up convo with the hiring manager for him to make the final decision Must-Have’s: - Minimum of 4 years in big data engineering involving Spark and Scala (Will take candidates with stronger Python/PySpark experience over Scala if they are strong in everything else and would only need to ramp up on Scala) - Some level of prior experience or understanding of cloud development (Azure preferred, but AWS experience is fine as well) - NoSQL database experience/knowledge. - Prior experience in Agile. - Prior experience with/understanding of Git or Github
