Role- Blueyonder Developer Duration- 6 Months Location- Charlotte, NC (open to relo but must relo to Charlotte within one year Top requirements: Blue Yonder WMS v 2018 and up MOCA (3-5 years experience) – commands and coding 5-6+ overall experience 3+ BY WMS Coding and integration work. Need someone with hands on technical/functional role + react and python (type backend background) Screening questions: **the candidates should be able to speak on: Experience in configuration of BY WMS above 2018 V (min) -Discrete for receiving, inventory management, allocation and picking operations Using Moca commands to customize the product to specific use cases. Experience in building BY WMS -Discrete integrator components to communicate with external systems Good SQL skills and awareness of core BY WMS -Discrete DB tables Other questions: What is MOCA How do we write custom MOCA command Can you explain the MOCA folder structure How do you write wapper on MOCA command Job Summary The primary purpose of this role is to translate business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs and to deliver code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions. This includes developing, configuring, or modifying complex integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments. This role facilitates the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications. Key Responsibilities Translates complex business requirements and functional specifications into executable stories, designs and code modules; partners with Product Team to understand business needs and functional specifications Independently writes high quality, maintainable, and robust code by building adequate test suits (like Unit, Integration, Performance, Chaos testing, etc.) and observability framework (like Alerts, Metric Dashboards, Logging and reliability runbooks, etc.) Guides application and software development teams in the design and build of complex solutions and ensures that teams are in alignment with the architecture blueprint, standards, target state architecture, and strategies Participates and mentors other engineers in software development technologies and processes by creating onboarding documents, issue Root Cause Analysis (RCA), key learnings, demos and share-out sessions Automates and simplifies team development, test, and operations processes Evaluates new software, tools and technologies to provide objective analysis and recommendations to the team Qualifications Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field) • 5 years of experience in software development or a related field • 4 years of experience in database technologies • 4 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC) • Hands on experience on Blue Yonder MOCA • Hands on experience on SQL • Strong Blue Yonder WMS functional knowledge • Technical knowledge and years of experience for Blue Yonder MOCA are hard requirements Preferred Qualifications • Master's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field • Knowledge on Ext.js, JavaScript, Groovy, Java, C languages • 5 years of IT experience developing and implementing business systems within an organization • 5 years of experience working with defect or incident tracking software • 5 years of experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment • 3 years of experience working with an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework • Develop strong relationships with Bangalore team members to maximize everyone's level of productivity -- ---- Thanks & Regards, Tejash - Technical Recruiter Thought wave Software and Solutions 314 N.
