BUSINESS ANALYST

Title: Senior Business Analyst - Procurement & Finance Duration:6 Months Contract Location: 100% Remote (EST Time zone)

Description For a Sr. BA on a data integration project, the resource need to at least understand how to read & query basic to intermediate level SQL and understand basic data architecture concepts to be able to translate functional knowledge into technical requirements and guide the team through these concepts. Additionally, it helps if the person has experience in the area such as procurement or procure to pay governance, to understand how a PO receipt table relates to a PO table vs the product table vs a supplier table vs an invoice table. This helps BAs determine when data appears to be invalid so that they may ask targeted business questions to adjust technical requirements and refine that data. The last important feedback is being able to manage the given tasks and priorities reasonably on their own, with some guidance. With general guidelines, they should be able to complete task, think through processes and apply critical thinking skills to resolve medium to low level functional and technical complexities on their own with given resources and through targeted questions that demonstrates what they need clarification on. Experience:

Experience with requirement gathering and be able to propose and translate into technical solutions. Experience in providing guidance on and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) Domain knowledge of areas such as procurement & finance (MUST HAVE) Experience in interactions with senior leadership with effective communications and timely responses, as well as handling escalations. Experience with handling urgent matters, be able to prioritize tasks to support urgent needs. Hands-on, working experience with writing complex SQL queries Knowledge of, cloud and on-prim data platform tools like AWS Data Lake, AWS Athena, Informatica, DataBricks, Cognos, Powerbi Experience in guiding, teaching, and/or mentoring junior staffs is a plus Hands-on experience on the execution of Agile/SCRUM processes and repeatable, predictable, and high-quality delivery of software solutions. Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to provide strategic direction to both technical and business organizations Analyze ERP / CRM (Oracle ERP, SAP, JDE, SFDC, Web) systems to design, define and integrate Operations/Financial/Marketing Data into Enterprise Data warehouse; Data Analysis skills
