BSA (OSM experience or previous experience working at an Energy/Utility company preferred) REMOTE (MUST WORK EST HOURS) East coast preferred W2 position 1 year contract Monday-Friday standard business hours USC and GC only Quick hits on what we need to find: Summary: Job Description - This position will be responsible for working with the business team to gather and document business requirements for Electric Distribution’s Outage Management System (OMS) replacement project. Additionally, this person will be required to plan and execute system testing as well as support business partners in the execution of user acceptance testing. Strong testing skills, meeting facilitation, communication and negotiation skills are required. The candidate should also have a strong working knowledge of Electric Distribution Operations Outage Management and associated restoration processes; both in regular and in-Storm conditions. Qualifications: Experience with end-to-end deployments of OMS Ability to quickly understand business processes to develop and document requirements and produce technical specifications Positive attitude Quick learner, who is able to think on his or her feet and exercise sound judgement Achievement oriented and self-motivated Ability to multitask and manage time across multiple activities Demonstrated technical aptitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills Responsibilities: Collaborate with fellow IT professionals on the full lifecycle of a given project Estimate Analyst deliverables, and provide updates on progress towards those deliverables Document requirements, use cases, data models, systems interfaces, wireframes, and related Analyst deliverables Investigate defects and enhancement requests Analyze and compare alternative solutions, and make appropriate recommendations Establish and maintain effective working relationships with business customers, IT colleagues, and software vendors Test planning and text execution of new solutions Develop scripts and processes to assist in these objectives Perform other duties as requested or assigned
