Business Analyst

Only on W2 Role : Business Analyst Duration :1 yr Location : 100% Remote Summary: The Business Systems Analyst Lead works with the Technology Engineers within the Infrastructure organization to align technology solutions with business strategies. Looking for a BSA leader that has depth of business systems analysis experience in IT organizations with superior communication (both verbal and written) skills. Having prior experience in eliciting and documenting project deliverables in a Waterfall and Agile framework for multiple projects and being a self-starter are important requirements for this role. The BSA will facilitate meetings, update project deliverables, scribe meeting minutes, assist the Project Manager with coordinating meetings, project deliverables, etc. Duties and Responsibilities: Facilitate meetings with technology engineers and the project manager to elicit and document requirements for project deliverables that includes scope, requirements, technical design, and testing. Builds relationships with project team colleagues with a goal to understand their needs, advocate on their behalf, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders. Works with all impacted technology teams to capture requirements as well as establish and strengthen the relationships between teams. Partners with Scrum and Waterfall teams to ensure all documented requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered to specification. Facilitate scope, discovery, and design sessions, and communicates with business partners on story status and follow-ups. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in IT organizations Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical skills, a “can do” attitude and attention to details. BSA experience working on projects in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Be flexible with fast-paced banking environment where priorities can shift. A team player with a strong resolve for high customer service and satisfaction with a focus on the colleague experience. Experience with using Microsoft Excel and Word is required. This is a Hybrid workplace position, where colleague will need to work at the assigned work location a minimum 3 days per week. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of the Agile/Scrum framework and tools e.g., ADO (Azure DevOps) Boards. Ability to manage deliverables for multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with high quality. Experience in a Business Analyst role performing the listed responsibilities, including experience with the following artifacts: assisting in creation of scope documents, eliciting and documenting functional/non-functional requirements and use cases, and producing process flows using Visio or equivalent tool Experience facilitating groups sessions to gather requirements with ability to ask relevant questions to drill into the details Experience tracking and driving deliverables to completion Problem-solver mindset; ability to work through grey areas independently with minimal supervision Proficiency with Microsoft (Outlook, MS Teams, Word, Excel) Demonstrate technical skills and the ability to learn technology.
