Role: Business Analyst
Location: Remote Skillset Required: 5 years of Business Analyst experience Agile experience (Can be Kanban) SQL Skills Tableu or Clicksense Nice to have: Financial Industry experience a big plus Job Description: Apex Systems has an immediate need for a senior-level Business Analyst to join a large client of ours supporting the state of Maryland. Location: REMOTE (must work east coast hours) Length: 2-year LTC Job Summary: As a Senior Business Analyst, you will solicit, understand, and document the customer's User Stories, processes and workflows. You will also work with developers to create the functional specifications that meet those requirements, serve as a subject matter expert to the developers building those functions, and work with the QA team to test the developed functionality. This role works closely with other BAs, Developers, Testers, and Production Support through each stage of the software development lifecycle and also demonstrates both existing and new functionality to the customer stakeholders. Principal Responsibilities: • Experience working with data and data models • Experience identifying system/process/data needs and impacts (upstream and downstream) • Experience working with other teams or interfacing applications to identify, document and manage dependencies and potentially competing priorities • Experience proposing and documenting options, alternatives, and possible remediation ideas • Experience creating and/or executing test cases, test plans and identifying opportunities for test automation solutions. Required Skills and Experience: • 5 years of Business Analyst experience • Agile experience (Can be Kanban) • SQL experience • Taking business requirements to flush out to get technical requirements, helping businesses figure out what data rules are in the system that they don’t know • Reporting frameworks – tableu or Clicksense • Financial industry is a big plus – but not needed Thanks,
