About the role
Role: Data analyst/Business analyst Location: Pittsburgh, PA (MUST BE LOCAL) 10x in the office a quarter on site; but remote on the rest 6-month contract to hire Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Working on the ALM team with a large data warehouse, this motivated, solution-oriented team player must be able to help the team in off boarding the data and be responsible for understanding the gap analysis on the data given. A lot of remediation needs to get done and they must be able to communicate with high level business stakeholders and the development teams. They need to be engaged in upfront conversations from the review calls to taking SQL code and understanding how they will change this for the new business requirements that come through. Must Haves: • 7+ years of BA/DA experience (more DA) • 4 year degree in IT, Business or Engineering • SQL • Financial Background (Risk, Asset Compliance, or Big Banking) • Jira Nice to Haves: • T-SQL (looking at tables/regional knowledge/demonstrating basic understanding and desire to do the hands on with SQL) • Scrum experience is a plus • Working in an ETL environment and understanding basic ETL concepts is a plus • Project management experience Thanks & Regards, Naveen Sai - Sr Technical Recruiter Thought wave Software and Solutions 314 N.
