Payment Integrity: Experience in healthcare or with another Blue or payer is crucial. Familiarity with these tools will make a candidate stand out. Engage with customers and communicate effectively with Director and VP-level business partners. Job Description Summary This role supports the Payment Integrity (PI) business area and the Special Investigations Unit (SIU). While experience with SIU is beneficial, expertise in PI is ideal. Required Experience: • Facets: Essential for claims processing. • SQL, Snowflake, PowerBI/Tableau: Tools for building dashboards, with a preference for PowerBI. • Payment Integrity: Experience in healthcare or with another Blue or payer is crucial. Familiarity with these tools will make a candidate stand out. Role Responsibilities: • Conduct financial reporting and track initiatives to evaluate the effectiveness of savings efforts in Payment Integrity. • Engage with customers and communicate effectively with Director and VP-level business partners. Additional Information: • This is a customer-facing role. • Certifications are not mandatory. • Similar roles at other payers might be titled Business Intelligence Developer Analyst or Senior, or Optum Data Analyst. Full stack developers from other insurance backgrounds have also performed well in this role.
