About the role
Role: Sr. Cloud Architect Vendor/Client: Apex/T. Rowe Price Location- They can start Remote but the candidates must relo to B-more area & work 2-3 days on site within 2 months of starting. Interview Process- Should be a 2 step interview process with video. Important Must have: Someone that comes from a financial background and is familiar with Investment banking or Mutual fund experience. Lead for a group of Software Engineers to bring cloud first technologies to the group and be able to lead the team in developing these skillsets. Majority of projects will be new or transforming .NET/Azure data based solutions into AWS cloud architecture. Current expectation is 3 days on site in Owings Mills MD 2 days remote per week. Core Skills Needed: • Excellent communication skills to engage with business units / clients / other technology leads • Advanced SQL query language • AWS cloud component and infrastructure knowledge and application: • AWS CLI • Unity • Git • Vault • EC’s • Lambda • Step Functions • Python • Java or .NET Additional Skills: • Mutual Fund experience • Experience building Web UI’s for AWS cloud supported data applications Thanks & Regards, Naveen Sai - Technical Recruiter Thought wave Software and Solutions 314 N.
