Only on W2 Role : Cloud Engineer Duration :6 Months Location :100% Remote Required Skills : Cloud Infrastructure, EC2, AWS Additional Skills : Job Description : Resource Qualifications Basic Qualifications: This position requires a minimum of an associate or a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or a related field, plus prior experience with Platform-as-a-service(PaaS) and Infrastructure-as-a-service(IaaS) in cloud. Cloud certifications in AWS or Azure are desired as well. Good customer facing communication skills. Delivers tasks on time with alignments to SLA goals. Can identify and raise issues, risks and benefits. Participates in change initiatives by implementing plans and provides appropriate information and feedback. Resolves day-to-day issues related to strategy implementation. Escalates issues that impact the client or the strategic initiatives. Coordinate efforts in troubleshooting, deployments, upgrades and Sev1/Sev2 issues(including RCA at end) to ensure timely resolution of issues and provide regular status updates. Update and maintain accurate Cloud support documentation as required. Part of global cloud support providing 24x7 technical support to cloud infrastructure Develop, refine, and execute Standard Operating Procedures Required Qualifications: Strong working experience in Cloud technologies (e.g., AWS/Azure) especially in Cloud infrastructure. Hands on experience & knowledge of cloud components (EC2, Load balancers, IAM , VPC, Storage solutions, S3, Cloud formation, Compute, Bastion hosts, cloud watch, subnets, Routing etc.) Have led in implementing and defining Infrastructure as Code tools including CloudFormation Templates, Chef, Jenkins, TerraForm, Git. Prior experience in scripting languages such as Powershell and Bash. Experience in troubleshooting operating-system, application-level and infrastructure level problems is highly desired. Experience and detailed knowledge of Windows, Unix/Linux. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, clear communication to effectively articulate problem, possible solutions and complicated cloud reports to IT partners. General skillset such as general log analysis, job troubleshooting, system configuration, backup & recovery of application infrastructure. Design, deploy and support monitoring solutions 24x7 for production and non-production environment. Working experience with various agent types (e.g. Qualys, Crowdstrike, Splunk, New Relic, Chef, Prisma, etc.) and with ServiceNow is a plus. Solid understanding and execution experience of Cloud specific tasks like: SSL Certificate renewal Key Rotation Cost control OS patching Monitoring & alerting, fixing alerts OS or Cloud resource Vulnerability management Monitor systems, OS, Memory, network Dealing with Auto Scaling Groups Provide support for Cloud infrastructure-related requests, Changes and incidents.
