Cloud Engineer

Role: Cloud Engineer Location: Cincinnati, OH Duration: Contract to Hire Senior Infrastructure Architect Skill Requirements • Skilled in on-prem and cloud infrastructure solutions, including servers, web and storage tiers, and databases. • Basic knowledge of Teamcenter, Windchill or any other PLM applications including data model and system architecture • Basic understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) configuration and customizations. • Good knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell scripts, Perl, Python etc. • Working knowledge of configuration choices and related cost implications; Experience with complex solution configurations. • Experience sustaining operational stability through various life cycle phases (planning, implementation, steady state, de-commissioning) • Able to lead early-stage customer interactions; Guide customers as they develop confidence and comfort with approaches and integrate with their legacy tech investments. • Adept at navigating the organizational matrix; understanding people's roles, can foresee obstacles, identify workarounds, leverage resources and rally teammates. • Able to articulate the value of what is most important to the business/customer to achieve outcomes • Foresee obstacles, identify workarounds, leverage resources, rally teammates. • Demonstrated ability to work with and/or lead blended teams, including 3rd party partners and customer personnel. • Strong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence across all organizational levels • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills • Ability to influence and build consensus with other Information Technology (IT) teams and leadership Basic Qualifications: • Familiarity with an Agile development process • Knowledge in general technology systems including but not limited to: o Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.) • Soft Skills: o Proactive, good learnability and application of new technologies, builds on constructive feedback o Good collaboration, communication skills, ability to give clear and concise status updates, good documentation abilities, proactively shares information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness o Comfortable with ambiguity, ability to manage risks, creative and curious o Good decision making, ability to influence stakeholders, good problem-solving abilities Required Qualifications: • Ability to work across multiple time zones • Ability to attend project status calls and report on status • Occasional EST and weekend support for releases • Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 2 years of professional experience (OR Associates degree with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 7 years of professional experience). • At least 4 years of professional experience with configuration and architecture of application and Database servers either on-prem and/or on cloud, for global PLM or other enterprise application platforms.
