About the role
Role: Cloud Engineer
Location: Fully Remote Duration: 6 months • This person will need to have more cloud and Redshift experience • Need to build out Redshift, data lake, and Glue • Looking at AWS Lake Formation – needing to work through access controls • Not able to open up all the data to the whole team • Biggest focus here is someone who has a strong background in AWS data architecture • Experience with Python is HEAVILY preferred – Java would be second if they don’t have Python
Must Have: • AWS Lake Formation • Redshift • Data Lake • Python or Java
Nice to Have: • Glue
SPECIFIC DUTIES: • Serve as a subject matter expert for a wide range of areas in analytics and AWS technologies supporting reporting, ML/AI • Lead analysis and data pipeline design across platforms toward the development of end-to-end solution • Code, test, identify, implement, and document data lake/lake house solutions utilizing AWS services • Perform design and analysis for deliverables.
