About the role
Job Title: Cloud Engineer Location: Remote till covid then Houston,Texas Required Skills : Azure Ansible Protractor or Selenium Position Summary: Participate on the system team to help define and develop ansible deployment pipelines, automated testing frameworks, monitoring tools, and other efforts to ensure stable operation of our cloud based applications and help consolidate applications spread across many different azure subscriptions into a single subscription. Required Qualifications: Development of Ansible Pipelines for Automated Azure deployments. Test Automation frameworks (Protractor or Selenium preferred) Familiar with Azure infrastructure services including app service plans, database hosting, virtual machines etc. Preferred Qualifications: Previous Experience working at Chevron using Chevron Azure pipeline framework is strongly preferred. Docker Containers Automation/Scripting Skills: PowerShell or Bash or both, Scripting Restful calls DevOps: Working knowledge of ADO, Azure Boards, Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, Ansible, Artifactory etc Tools: Visual Studio Code, SDK’s, AppConfiguration, AZ Cli etc Basic Knowledge of Azure Compute, Storage, Database, Networking, Web Services is needed. Education: Computer Science Degree or equivalent Responsibilities: Help define azure target architecture for surface platform Perform migrations and upgrades to move existing architecture to target architecture Support platform teams on automation for deployments and teams.
